Tom graduated from the University of Sussex in 2019 with a master’s degree in Management and Finance. He spent the following two years working for one of the UK’s largest protection providers, offering support and guidance to financial advisers with their protection business, before joining McMillan Financial Advice in 2021.

Due to his previous role, as well as his own life experiences, Tom is a great advocate of protection, and can sympathise with the fact that the loss of a loved one can cause both emotional and financial distress for a family. Tom aims to ensure his clients are protected as comprehensively as they can be, so that if the worst is to happen, finances can be less of a concern and families can maintain their standard of living, reducing the potential worries brought about by such an event.

Beyond protection, he also offers advice to his clients on a range of areas of finance, Including investment and pension planning, ISAs and unit trusts, as well as offering mortgage advice. Tom strongly believes that a trusting, long-term relationship is the key to providing sound financial advice.

Outside of work, Tom referees semi-professional football, enjoys running, spending time with family and friends, and is a big fan of Brighton & Hove Albion.
